Kuro-Kuro Productions is an independent film production
team based in Makati, Philippines.

Founded in 2022 by a team of passionate film students, Kuro-Kuro Productions specializes in producing short narrative, documentary, and experimental films. With a passion for storytelling and creativity, Kuro-Kuro embraces the collaborative spirit of filmmaking to bring different stories to the screen that resonate with audiences.
How We Began
Kuro-Kuro marked the beginning of a friendship among student filmmakers. The original Kuro gang connected online during the pandemic, finally met each other in person, and shared a meal at a food stall named Kuro.
That's when 'Kuro-Kuro' was born – a name that celebrates much more than just the group, it's a symbol of a connection finally made real.
The owl represents Kuro-Kuro because its hoot, which can sound like "kroo," is similar to the production team's name.
